Yukari Hashimoto joined Aflac in 1989. She was promoted to General Manager of Premium Accounting Dept. in 2016 and to General Manager of Diversity Promotion Dept. in 2018. She was promoted to Vice President in 2021 and then to Chief Diversity & Inclusion officer in 2023. She was actively engaged in promoting diversity & inclusion and work style reform initiative "Aflac Work SMART" . She has supported the employee career development by implementing Remote Career Development System and conducting interviews with over 100 female employees.
