At the Super DX/SUM, there will be a pitch contest "Impact Pitch" for startups aiming to solve problems in the fields of climate change and energy. Climate tech, a technology related to climate change, includes various fields aimed at decarbonization. Not just energy, it includes mobility, heavy industry, food and agriculture, land use, etc.

Specifically, we are looking for startups working on the following businesses;
- Climate change (monitoring, meteorological forecasting, disaster forecasting, data analysis, image analysis, carbon credits, greenhouse gas, recovery/storage, etc.)
- Energy (renewable energy, new energy = hydrogen, ammonia, seaweed, etc. =, energy storage technology, smart grid, etc.)
- Foods/Agriculture (smart agriculture, alternative proteins, plant factories, greening technology, reforestation, agricultural biogenomics, land-use management, etc.)
- Life/Mobility (EV, FCV, traffic control, smart city, smart housing, waste disposal, recycling technology, etc.)
- DX related to the above business fields (AI, blockchain, IoT, data analysis, Metaverse, Web 3 etc.)
Participants can apply from this site, and the finalists will be selected after judges’ screening. On September 8, the final pitch will be held by the finalists. The prize money for the Grand Prix will be 1 million yen, and corporate awards by the sponsoring company is also planned.

- Within 10 years of its foundingnot and not a subsidiary of large companies
- Capital (including capital reserve) must be 1 billion yen or less
- Being able to pitch at the venue on Sept.8

- Logos and names of Startups that have passed the first screening will be introduced on The Nikkei newspaper in late July. In addition, they will be provided admission tickets for the Super DX/SUM.
- Startups selected in the final screening can participate in the final pitch on September 8.

DX (Digital Transformation), which promotes transformation in society and business, cannot bear fruit even if it is promoted by a specific industry or company alone. Real innovation will be born and transformation will be realized by collaborating and combining across industry sectors and organizations.
Issues such as climate change, pandemics, and the crisis in Ukraine facing the world have triggered a review of geopolitical challenges, global supply chains, and food and energy security, and various changes and chaleenges are being sought without waiting. ..
The Super DX/SUM brings together DX companies in the fields of finance, agriculture and energy, start-ups, and IT companies that support transformation with technologies such as AI, IoT and blockchain. The event will take on the challenge of creating new industries and businesses by developing discussions and networking without the boundaries of the industrial sector. -

BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITIONThe University Business Plan Competition is a competition for students with an entrepreneurial spirit, aiming for solving social issues by utilizing cutting-edge technologies. Students will devise products and services that contribute to the Osaka- Kansai Japan Expo 2025, from their unique perspectives. The final presentation will be held on September 7, the second day of the Super DX/SUM. Stay tuned!
