Aries serves as the Executive Director of Indonesia Fintech Association (AFTECH), leading development and implementation of various policy advocacies, collaboration between members, and financial inclusion and literacy programs. Aries has previously 14 years of experience as policy analyst at the Financial Stability Committee and Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, also as an Adjunct Lecturer at the State Financial Polytechnic STAN. Aries holds a B.A. in Economics from Universitas Gadjah Mada and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, and an Executive Education Program in e-Government at Maastricht School of Management.
