Joined Sumitomo Life Insurance Co. in 1988, working my way up through various roles, including a secondment to the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Manager of Secretarial Sect., and Manager of Corporate Governance Sect. In 2011, launched Sumitomo Life's brand strategy project and became General Manager of the Brand Communication Dept. In 2019, established the Next Business Planning Dept. and by the end of 2020, founded the CVC fund "SUMISEI INNOVATION FUND" to drive open innovation in areas such as building the WaaS (Well-being as a Service) ecosystem and digital insurance business.
