Kaoru Numata serves as Senior Managing Director, Digital Company and Retail Division Marketing of Nomura Holdings Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, he joined Nomura Securities in 2010 after 23 year-experience in Nomura Research Institute and was appointed as Co-Global Wholesale CIO(London) of Nomura Securities in 2014. Starting with that, he has been serving key roles across Nomura Group till today, as Senior Managing Director/CIO of Nomura Holdings in 2016, Senior Corporate Managing Director, Business Infrastructure of Nomura Asset Management in 2019, and Senior Managing Director, Future Innovation Company of Nomura Holdings in 2021.
