Mr. Yufu joined the Ministry of Finance in 1989. In 2004, he was seconded to the OECD where he was in charge of promoting good corporate governance policies in Asian emerging economies. He has been working for the FSA since 2008. He was dedicated to developing Japan’s Stewardship Code (2014) and the Corporate Governance Code (2015). Mr. Yufu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Laws from the University of Tokyo and a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University.
