Kenichi Matsuguma has been assigned to the current position since July 2023. He joined the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan in 2001 and has held various positions at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the Cabinet Secretariat. He is in charge of promotion of cashless payments and utilization of consumption data.
