Nozomi Yamada is Head of Debit and Prepaid in Asia-Pacific at Visa, based in Singapore. The mission of her team is
to drive portfolio growth and evolution of Visa’s debit and prepaid product offerings. Prior to this role, she spent 6
years working closely with banks to drive debit business in Japan.
Before Visa, Nozomi was at NTT Data Getronics working on a global roll-out of anti-money laundering systems and
operations at overseas branches of the Japanese megabank. She holds a BA (Int’l Politics) and MA (Peace and
Conflict Studies) from Ulster University in UK.
