After working at a property insurance company, joined Yahoo! JAPAN in 2001. Launched "Yahoo! Insurance," the precursor to "PayPay Insurance," then contributed to e-commerce services (Yahoo! Auctions, Yahoo! Shopping). Subsequently became the President and Representative Director of Carview Corporation and a Director at Bookoff Corporation. Returned to Yahoo's insurance division in 2018 and was appointed as the President and CEO of ""PayPay Insurance Services Corporation"" in 2021.
