Neal Sato is the VP of Engineering at Coincheck, Inc. After graduating Purdue University with an engineering degree, Neal has worked in various internet companies in the US , China, and Japan. As a CTO for mixi, he spearheaded the OpenSocial platform project which created a new social applications market in Japan. At Rakuten, as an executive officer in charge of global infrastructure, he has led the global data center consolidation project while completing his MBA at McGill University. At Coincheck, he is in charge of all aspects of engineering as well as IT security and corporate IT.
