His research focuses on the development of technologies to solve the security and privacy issues of data in finance, government, and Internet voting. His technical research has been presented as academic papers at domestic and international conferences. He has discovered several vulnerabilities in the Ethereum protocol and contributed to the development of the specification, and was the first Japan-based team to win a grant from the Ethereum Foundation. He was selected for the IPA Exploratory IT Human Resource Development Project in 2020.
