Hiroyuki Sanbe is a lawyer admitted in Japan and New York. He advises on legal issues of AI and other innovations so that Japanese and foreign companies may conduct their businesses without violation of laws and regulations. He, as a member of a working group of the Liberal Democratic Party’s AI project team, provided proposals when the Party drafted its “AI White Paper”. He is also acting as an advisor for “Generative AI Consortium” of Nikkei and a member of the expert panel regarding AI and data at Japanese ministries and municipal government.
