Toshiyuki Miyoshi

Vice Commissioner for International Affairs, Financial Services Agency
Toshiyuki (Toshi) currently heads the Japan FSA’s international affairs group and represents the FSA at working-level meetings of the G20 and G7. He also participates in discussions at the Financial Stability Board and International Organisation of Securities Commissions. In these capacities he made substantial contribution to building international consensus on regulating and supervising crypto-asset activities and markets. In previous positions at the FSA, Toshi worked on supervision of Japan's major banks and insurers, cross-sectoral supervisory policies and external communications. He also has working experience at Japan's Ministry of Finance on government debt management and the IMF on international monetary system.
