Ms. YJ Fischer is the Director for International Affairs at the SEC. Immediately prior to this role she was global head of YouTube product policy at Google. Previously, Ms. Fischer was Vice President for Government Partnerships at the micro-mobility pioneer Bird. She also served in the Obama Administration at the U.S. State Department as assistant coordinator for implementation of the Iran nuclear agreement.

Earlier in her career, she headed international business development at Virgin Hyperloop One, and practiced corporate law at Kirkland and Ellis.

Ms. Fischer has a B.A. from Barnard College and a J.D. from Columbia University.
