Moti Yung is a Security and Privacy Research Scientist with Google. He got his PhD from Columbia University in 1988. Previously, he was with IBM-Research, Certco, RSA-Labs, and Snap. He is also an adjunct senior research faculty at Columbia.
Yung is a fellow of the IEEE, the ACM, the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR), and the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS). Among his awards: the IACR 2010 Distinguished Lecture, the ACM SIGSAC 2014 outstanding Innovation Award, the ESORICS 2014 Outstanding Research Award, the IEEE-CS 2018 W. Wallace McDowell Award, and the IEEE-CS 2021 Computer Pioneer Award.
