Seki joined Tokyo Electric Power Company, Inc. in 1986 and has worked in a variety of roles across engineering of substation, research & development, accounting & treasury, and corporate planning & management. As a researcher, he was engaged in OT architecture design and data business analysis. He took the current position in 2016, and has been leading modernization of IT and OT systems, DX with business process innovation and digital technology, and the securing of cyber securities for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. He is also responsible for developing technology strategies and innovative technologies aimed at carbon neutrality.He earned a Ph.D in Data Science in 2015.
