"Katsunori Tanikazu is the Representative Director, President, CEO and President of The Japan Research Institute, Ltd (JRI) since 2019 and Representative Director, President, of JRI Holdings since 2024.
Prior to that he was appointed Senior Executive Officer of Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group CDIO in 2018, leading the Group's overall IT and digital strategy. In 2022, he was presented with the Japan CDO of the Year Award.
With over 40 years of extensive experience in the financial industry, he also serves as a Director of SMBC Nikko Securities and as a Counselor to the Japan Center for International Finance."
