Mikako Awano has been long working for WWF Japan since 1990, and covered a wide variety of environmental agenda from renewable energy promotion to biodiversity and responsible sourcing. She founded a new organization at 2016 focusing on sustainability at business sector including ESG. She is a judge panel of ESG Finance Award Japan and a member of the committee for biodiversity strategy of Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery. She also joins the TNFD Informal Working Group.
