Mr. Namatame joined Tokio Marine Holdings in 2018, assumed Managing Executive Officer and Group Chief Digital Officer in April 2021 and Senior Managing Executive Officer, CDO, from April 2024. Prior to Tokio Marine, he was a Managing Director and board member at BlackRock Japan. Before that he held senior positions at Visa, Morgan Stanley, and Deutsche Bank. He started his career at Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan. He graduated from University of Tokyo and earned MBA from Harvard Business School. He is one of the directors of the AI Governance Association.
