Namatame joined Tokio Marine Holdings in 2018 and assumed Managing Executive Officer and Group Chief Digital Officer from 2021. Prior to Tokio Marine, he was Managing Director, and the member of the board at BlackRock Japan. Before that he had a number of senior executive positions at Visa Worldwide Japan, Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank. He started his career at Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan. In addition to his career positions, he assumed the non-executive director at Mercari, Inc. and an advisor to Japan's Financial Services Agency. He graduated from University of Tokyo and earned MBA from Harvard Business School.
