Joined IBM Japan in 1987 as a system engineer, participating in system development and maintenance projects for financial institutions. Since then, took on roles including strategy planning and Executive Assistant to a senior executive of IBM Corporation in the United States. After leading Services business driving clients' transformation through consulting, system development & maintenance, and business process outsourcing, appointed General Manager of IBM Japan in May 2019. Also a member of IBM Corporation’s Executive Committee and serves as Representative Director of Accessibility Consortium of Enterprises (ACE) and Vice Chairman of DOYUKAI (Japan Association of Corporate Executives).
