In 1987, Hiroshi joined Nippon Life Insurance Company after graduation from the University of Tokyo. In 2014, as Chief Investment Officer, he started investing in Green Bond Investment and promoting Sustainable Investment. In 2018 Managing Executive Officer and General Manager, Americas and Europe (stationed in New York). He has been in his current position since March 2020. He has shared his views on ESG/SDGs and asset management both in Japan and abroad, including at RI Asia and TCFD Summit and he gave the opening speech at the PRI Digital Conference 2021.
