Mr. Futami worked for AIG group companies (Alico Japan, AIG Edison Life Insurance Company) until January 2011, in charge of the Systems Division and Operations Division as CIO & Executive Managing Director. He Joined MetLife in April 2011, in charge of the System Development Division as CIO & Senior Vice President. After working for Mitsui Life Insurance Company Ltd. (currently Taiju Life Insurance Co., Ltd.), in January 2015 he joined Aflac as Senior Vice President. Currently he serves as Director, Executive Vice President, CTO (Chief Transformation Officer), and CDIO (Chief Digital & Information Officer). He oversees the IT and Digital Division as CDIO, and is responsible for the Policy Services Division as CTO.
