Vice President of Tokyo University of Agriculture since April 2021 / Professor, Faculty of International Agriculture and Food Studies. Completed the Department of Agricultural Economics doctoral program, Graduate School of Agriculture, Tokyo University of Agriculture, received her Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics. In 2021, she was appointed the director of the Food and Agriculture Museum at the university. Currently, she is a member of the Council of Food, Agriculture and Rural Area Policies in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), and a member of the MAFF’s Council for the Promotion of Shokuiku (food and nutrition education).
