Malcolm is Deputy Chair of the GDF Advisory Council. He now runs a crypto compliance advisory firm and is a leading authority on Travel Rule implementation where he is also Head of Strategy for Shyft Networks, a decentralized open-source Travel Rule solution. He was previously Chief Compliance Officer at BitMEX where he joined in October 2020 to resolve US matters, and prior to this Chief Compliance Officer at Diginex, the first Nasdaq listed crypto exchange and Revolut, a leading FinTech unicorn. In his earlier career, Malcolm held several senior leadership roles within Thomson Reuters’s anti-financial crime business. He is an Associate Fellow of the Royal United Services Institute’s Centre for Financial Crime Studies in London.
