Brent Beardsley
Head of Personal Investor, Europe – Vanguard Asset Management
Brent Beardsley is Head of Vanguard’s Personal Investor business across Europe. In his current role, Brent is responsible for the build, oversight, direction and delivery of Vanguard’s direct retail service offering in the UK and continental Europe. Previously, Brent was the head of corporate strategy at Vanguard, overseeing overall corporate strategy activities, including helping to assess potential strategic partnerships and M&A activity, as well as managing Vanguard’s innovation studio group.
Prior to joining Vanguard in January, Brent was a Senior Partner and Managing Director at BCG, where he led BCGs Asset and Wealth Management Practice globally. During his 18 years at BCG, Brent worked with a broad set of asset management and wealth management clients on topics such as growth strategies, organizational design, target operating model design and digital transformations.
Brent holds an MBA, with high distinction, from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
