Fabian is a former investment banker with a strong track record as a founder, angel investor and mentor of successful start-ups. Fabi oversees the financial strategy for wefox and leads the company’s strategic investment initiatives and major funding rounds, including equity fund raising, debt raise and M&A activities. Fabi has raised more than €300m to date and completed several M&A transactions. Prior to joining wefox, Fabi was an investment banker at Deutsche Bank where he was involved with large-scale financial transactions, including the €4.5 billion sales of Actavis to Watson Pharmaceuticals; the €1.1 billion leveraged buy-out of Mediq by Advent International; and €1 billion sale of Four Seasons Healthcare to Terra Firma. Fabi graduated with a Masters in Finance from ESADE Business School and holds a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration and Economics from the University of Passau.
